Drop Off

Contents

A shipment is considered part of the Drop Off logistics model if the carrier manages it end to end — that is, from receiving the package at one of its branches (or collecting it from the seller’s address) through delivery to the buyer.

In this logistics model, the seller must package the product, print the label, and hand off the parcel at one of the partner locations integrated with Mercado Libre’s system, ensuring full tracking while the parcel is under the carrier’s responsibility through final delivery to the buyer.

  • Status codes shown in bold correspond to final notifications. Any event received after one of these will be disregarded. Please ensure the shipment will not receive any subsequent events after it has been finalized because the final notifications have financial triggers.
  • If the carrier has an internal status that does not correspond to any standard Mercado Envios notification, it must be mapped to the generic 9999 notification. This notification is informational only and does not impact the shipment status.
