Introduction

In the Proximity Marketplace logistic model, the carrier provides a driver to pick up orders from restaurants and deliver them to the customer’s home.

It is operated under a drop off logistic model tailored to ready-to-eat food and rapid deliveries, covering everything from order creation through delivery confirmation, with real-time dispatch and variable partner capacity.

Consequently, the operational events differ from the traditional model and include driver search and allocation, arrival and wait at the restaurant, pickup confirmation, the trip to the customer with route updates, delivery attempts, and proof of delivery.

  • Status codes shown in bold correspond to final notifications. Any event received after one of these will be disregarded. Please ensure the shipment will not receive any subsequent events after it has been finalized because the final notifications have financial triggers.
  • If the carrier has an internal status that does not correspond to any standard Mercado Envios notification, it must be mapped to the generic 9999 notification. This notification is informational only and does not impact the shipment status.
