Summary of the Authorization Flow

To obtain the data required for issuing route itineraries, you must perform a set of steps in the following sequence:

  1. Application
  2. Authentication
  3. Access Authorization
  4. Fiscal Data

Application

To connect to the Mercado Libre APIs, you must have the application configured. The same application must be used for other integrations with Mercado Libre. For more information, visit Access Control (OAuth).

Prerequisites

  • Have a Mercado Libre account
  • Have administrator access to this account

Authentication: How to Obtain a Token?

Mercado Libre APIs use an access token. To obtain one, you must follow the steps described in: How to get my Access Token.

Access Authorization

To access the fiscal data API, you must request access from your focal point. To do so, you must provide the Carrier ID and the Application ID that was generated.
